there are few things to try here, first try another usb port, second try a different battery, thirdly get a card reader and use that to transfer the files across using the old drag and drop method. the third method is my prefered method for the vholdr as its so much quicker than going though the software.

the first two have already been done. I would like to try the third method. I have a reader card that I can put dirctly into my computer. How do I save it to my VHOLD library. Thanks for you help.

depending on your os basicaly , when you insert the card you will be given a list of options of what to do with the content, choose 'open folder to view files' (or similar) , this should open to a file named 'video' , if you right click on the file you can rename it to some thing like the date, this helps when you put it into easy edit. once that is done go to 'start' and open 'my documents' ,in there you will find a folder named 'VholdR videos' , all you have to do now is to put the cursor on the folder youve renamed and hold the left button on the mouse down, and drag that folder on top of the 'vholdr video' folder and let go of the left button (you may have to resize the windows so that both folders are visable) this then copies the folder to easy edit. minimize both windows and open easy edit. you should now see the new file on the list of files on the left hand side. if its all there have a coffee! if not try again, but close easy edit first.
