New videos camera position

Woodee

I have used my ContourHD camera a couple of times and all is good. The footage is great (although the wind is kinda annoying)

The problem I am having is finding a good mounting position. I use a goggle mount as I don't want to mount permanently. My positioning always seems to be pointing too far down and towards my helmet. Any tips on getting a good position?

The inner mount can be adjusted relative to the goggle mount. If cam is aimed to low, unsnapped, rotate cam view upward, snap back into goggle mount. Once I find the "nominal" position, I note where the laser pointers fall on a wall say 10ft away with head level. That way if I ever have to remount the cam on the goggle mount, I just keep adjusting until the laser points are back on the same point.
As for left/right adjustment, try sliding the goggle mount back on the strap. If the helmet is somewhat round, as the back of the mount starts turning around the back of the helmet, the front should start going away from the helmet.
