Playback choppiness ( for admin )

tommac13

I've uploaded two files, one HD, one SD for testing.

I've noticed that the playback from the website for the SD video is choppy (while the HD is fine).
Both are viewed fine at my local site either using QT or Easy Edit.
What I've found thru trial is that your web site play back with Internet Explr is causing the SD file to be choppy as playback with FireFox doesn't show any problems. And/or there are no problems using IE when playback thru an emailed link(option to email link from yr site).

Questions are;
1) why would IE cause the SD file to be choppy but not the HD (as HD is a higer bit rate...maybe frame rate?)

TIA
Tom

I have the same problem when using Safari on the Mac. The player is HORRIBLE choppy and you have to let the whole thing load before it is even watchable. So, it is not like it is even streaming. Is there a fix for this? As everytime I have friend watch my videos, they say, "this player sucks"!

Lets fix this.

Do what I did, try another browser.. For me Firefox works just fine so I've been leaning away from IE.

nnhubbard,

I use Safari almost exclusively here in the office with great results. I'm wondering how you and I could be so far off... Send an email to beta-testing@vholdr.com with what you're seeing and your machine info so we can qualify this and see what's going on.

Thanks,
Nate
