Hello,
Can anyone suggest alternate mounting hardware and/or ideas for the VholdR camera use with aircraft or other FAST vehicles?
I plan to mount my camera upon various places on my aircraft and doubt that the designers of the supplied mount had 130 knot wind pressure in mind.

have a look at RAM mounts, they have hundereds of applications and the new mount system for the camera looks like its based around ram mountings. check out http://www.ram-mount.com/ you might find what your looking for :)
Thanks for the suggestion. I did go to the RAM web site before posting, but was initially unable to find what I wanted because you have to have a device to enter before you can proceed (no VholdR camera applications). Since then, I have navigated around and downloaded their raw parts catalog found here:

It looks like I can mix and match parts to make the mounts that I want, but will still have to design/create some of it. My goal is to place a camera on the top of the vertical stabilizer, rear/bottom of the fuselage, outer most portion of the wing, and other locations. Each position will require a slightly different mount.
So, can any pilots out there mention the parts that they are using and/or send photos/video of how they affixed a VholdR camera to their plane? Otherwise, stand by for me to do this with my project.

I am going to have a aeronautical engineer design a mount for me as we will be using it on a lot of helicopter flights. Yes it will cost more, but a lot less chance of you loosing your house and plane when it falls off and hits someone.
Tell him what you want and he will be able to show you a lot of options you haven't even thought of yet.
