I just got a ContourHD 2 days ago, (having a lot of fun) but my question is, suggested minimum requirements for computer is QuickTime 7. I use windows. Is this because of the H.264 or is there another reason? I tried it and was not really happy with it. Is there another HD quality progam out there? Thanks for any info. Ken
yes its down to the H264, give sony vegas a try http://www.sonycreativesoftwar...
and give the months trial ago, it will take a bit of getting used to but its relitively cheep to buy and supports HD editing. you can read all about it on the link, i tried out the months free trial and ended up buying it and i havent looked back. it does do one strange thing it wont pull out the audio from the file directly, if you remove one second with the easyedit clip feature and then import it, it will then have the audio. dont ask me why it just works.
if you do go with it myself and Bean are running it and can give head ups if needed.
enjoy,
Dave. :)
Thanks for your response, Dave. I am leaning toward it, I spent a good hour at the website. I like the fact it seems to have a fairly decent audio program included. I have all these video and audio idea's rattlin around in the brain, probably where they will stay but anyway---
I love the way you edit videos in Magix Movie Edit Pro, just bought it now 2 months ago and edited lot's of videos with it and I think it's much cheaper than Sony Vegas, which I think it very expensive (600USD as I remember)
