I looked to see if there was discussion about other mounting options for the ContourHD. I did see some questions but nothing concrete . There was one other question about chest mounts but I haven't been happy with my experiments with that either.
Here's some things I tried for bikes where I figured out other mounting options with the goggle mount other then to have it looking forward from the goggles.
- Rearward view mounted on top tube and on a backpack
- Forward view mounted on frame
- Downward view mounted on frame

Anyone else have any other suggested mounts? I can't imagine I'm the only one out there playing with different mounts

I used the Vio double hook and loop mount for the ContourHD and it's a much much better mount then any of the Vholdr mounts. Footage is less shaky and the camera is more secure. See article
