Hope some of you can help with this.
When i try and edit my contour hd footage i'm experiencing the following problems.
1) i have to render my audio
2) all simple transitions, such as fades,ect. need to be rendered for playback.
3) cuts from clip to clip are super clunky. Usually the image freezes for a second before restarting.
Now, this isn't a machine problem. I've got a quad-core tower that i edit hd footage on all the time.
I believe the sequence settings is where my problems lie. I had the sequence match the footage but the problems still remain. Appreciate any insight you may have, Eshom
