Brand new, out of the box. Recorded three clips and started to download them into Easy Edit Software but, as soon as I connect my VholdR to my computer using the USB cable, the camera turns off - I mean 'lights out' only the charge light remains on. I tried removing battery and re-inserting it, I tried removing the card and re-inserting it but every time, as soon as I connect to USB cable, it turns off.
Hmm... That's unusual. Please hitup the support email and we'll get a case going for you. We'll either need to talk to you on the phone or swap you out.
Thanks,
Nate

I did get a case going with support. After several bits of correspondence with Jared in Tech Support, nothing worked because I couldn't access the unit (as soon as I'd connect to a USB port the camera would shut down), so we tried a 'Long-Shot’ which was to try another USB port. I connected to one in the back of my CPU and it worked perfectly.
Oh cool, that's awesome! It must have been the USB port.

Hey norto,
There may be something up with the memory card. Try to reformat it. If you need help doing that you can put a call or email into support, they'll walk you through and if it's not that get a case going for you.
