i was just wandering, would it be possable for us to upload vids with 5.1 surround sound?
those of us who have it on our computors and can edit with our software could add another dimension to the viewing experience for all. it only occured to me as i was watching some vids and ive got 3 dormant speakers staring at me wanting to enhance my life :)
anyone else got a thought on this?

I don't think Flash supports this. Most people aren't using surround sound setups on the PC's as well (I am). =)
shame as you can scare the crap out of folk with surround by suddenly moving the volume up on different tracks ;)
You could do this if you didn't use Flash as the video type. Other formats do support surround. My CS3 has an app where I can author surround, but I've never played with it.
surround sound would be cool. i have a 5.1 logitec sound system set up. i use it for games..ect would be great on home made films :)
