Is there any possible way to turn the camera on and off without the use of the slide switch?
I'm building a plexiglass case to be highly water resistant and light weight (helmet mounted) for whitewater rafting down the Grand Canyon. Building the case is straight forwarded, but operating the push pull switch, or creating the mechanics to operate the switch while the case is closed is, well, problematic. If there were an electronic way to turn it off and on, that could be easy to build into the case.
