The aluminum case scratches pretty easy so i was wondering about a Neoprene case? If anyone has attempted this already let me know. I Have an old wet suit that i may attempt to fabricate a cover out of

Great idea, Would cut out some wind noise too!
Why not cut one of the fingers off a neoprene fishing glove?
a beer holder one may work? Has neck bottle too.
Black marker does an amazing job!
Go to any local gun shop and buy a "Scope Coat". It slips quite easily over the unit, and is sufficient to keep the camera from getting scratched. It also covers the camera while it is mounted, for those times when you might be wearing the camera but not actually using it. The "Scope Coat" is a slip-on cover meant to keep firearm scopes clean, but the one sized for "AimPoint" red-dot sights works perfectly.
I used some old diving suits and made a tuve like thing. Fits pefect and the material makes it possible for me too reach the recorder without making separate hole for recording switch.
