Is there a search option for the forum section? When I use the seach option top right it just brings up videos, it would be nice to be able to search the forum for certain issues.

I am in the exact same boat and would like to see a search option as I just got my Contour HD as well.
its a good call and would help people from posting up questions that already have threads.
Something we'd like to add as well. I'll tally up a couple more votes and we'll see if we can't move this up the list.

As a temporary measure, you can use Google to search the forums. Just type in the words you're looking for followed by, "site:vholdr.com/forums" (without the quotation marks, obviously). Hope that helps.
It would be easier if you installed either phpbb or vbulletin with all normal forum features - e.g. subscribing to topics, email notifications, etc.

Arghhh. I've been looking everywhere for a search option to only find this thread, this isn;t one.
Makes the forum very painful without it, would be hard to start indexing to enable searching would it?
Also when in a thread, be good to know what part of the forum you are in!!...

Oatmealboy, in theory it should work (that's what google advance does too) but that is reliant on the google bots trawling thorugh all the forums to index them, which it looks like it hasn't done many at all.

this might just be me that find this a problem.
could you sort the forums in one order?
when you open the main forum page (bottom right corner) you get the forums in one order, but when you go to one of the subforums (such as ContourHD-forum) the forums are not sorted in the same order as on the previous page.

not 100% sure I follow. If you click into forums from the bottom right you get a summary of all the forums. If you click on one of the subforums you get a listing of the posts. They're kinda different things.
