Can anyone offer some suggestions on the handlebar mount for the Contour HD? I ride a lot of DH on very rocky trails and while the handlebar mounts POV is great, the camera shakes so much that whatever is recorded is unwatchable.
I have secured the handlebar mount as tight as I dare, and have made sure that the actual camera is fully seated in its mount, but it still has significant 'play'. (BTW, I'm running a 31.8 bar)
The flat surface mount seems the most stable, but I don't want to permanently attach anything to my TLD-D2 full face helmet (which incidentally has NO flat surfaces). The goggle mount needs the goggles to be so tight it's out of the question. Even then there is still a lot of play.
Has anyone had similar issues and can offer me some advice? Cheers!

just make sure that the packing peice on the clamp directly under the camera is the thinest one or none at all and this should cut down the vibrations. ive also used a large 'o'ring to put aound the front of the camera under the bars and then over the back of the camera to help,or a strong elastic band will suffice.
hope this is of some use :)
