My camera powers up by it's self . I can shut it off then about 3-4 minutes later it will power up again. the only way to stop it is remove the battery. It's about 2months old. Any suggestions?

check that a bit of dirt hasnt jammed in the power switch inside.
It does it with the cover open or closed
It won't while charging
If I leave the batt. out for a while then replace it usally won't power up, but will about 30% of the time.
It's mostly after powering down with the button , all lites are off about 3-5 min , then it goes through the power up cycle again,seems to video ok after auto power, but it's a pain to remove the batt. to keep from discharging
