VholdR Video playback. (Mac/PC). [F.A.Q.]

Here is a quick guide to troubleshooting some common playback problems.

My videos are choppy and out of sync. Why? [PC]

The most common problem for PC users is forgetting to install FFDshow; which is included on the CD. This should solve any playback issues that you’re facing.

I see a white screen with only audio. What’s up with that? [Mac]

Unfortunately Quicktime doesn’t get along with the compression VholdR videos use. The easiest solution is to download the VLC player to playback your videos. We’re trying to find a solution for this and hope to have an update for when the Mac software is released.

Most problems can be solved by either installing FFDshow, for PC users, or using the VLC player, for Mac users. Many small glitches, hiccups, and out of sync issues will be solved. Here are a couple more solutions to try out if you are still having some trouble getting your video to play back.

MicroSD Card -

There are many out there and the one we’ve found that captures the best quality video and audio is the SanDisk Premiere MicroSD up to 2gig in the non-HC format.

Corrupt SD Card -

Sometimes a corrupted card can be the source of bad or no video. Follow the link below to find out steps to re-format your card and some tips on how to prevent a corrupt card.
