that might work! there again
David,
It looks like you used some sort of extruded aluminum frame work. Something in like a showerdoor frame etc. What is it are you using?
see this picture http://i710.photobucket.com/al...
Thanks,
Blair
its actualy plastic conduit for electric cables, the sort that sits on top of the wall and has a clip on top. if i get time this week i will make another and sort out a 'how to' video and post it, it may take me a while to sort though due to general busyness! will post asap though :)
David,
No rush, I am waiting for my camera to come (on wait list). I do look forward to seeing your how to video.
Blair
all things working as they should i hope to get it sorted on sunday so it should be up on monday(fingers crossed) :)
well here it is.......
embed type='application/x-shockwave-flash' src='http://vholdr.com/sites/default/files/flv/42player.swf' allowfullscreen='true' flashvars='height=281&width=500&autostart=false&repeat=list&file=http://vholdr.com/xspf/node/29456/emb&skin=http://vholdr.com/sites/default/files/flv/skin.swf'
try again sleepy.....
Dave,
Thanks for posting the vid.
I hate that you have to put a disclaimer in there. argggh.
well unfortunatly i dont want any backlash if someone screws up or gets it wrong...... thats life though ;)
Neat idea, but with that angle, are you trying to film yourself, and only yourself riding?
no its just a different perspective! you get to see the suspension moving and how much you actually move even on the mundane bits. after filming with a vholdr for over a year you like to find different angles, the other benefit is that you can mount the camera in different places that the normal mounts cant do.
im off to do the megavalanche again next week, so you might get to see what im on about soon (if i survive!)
Dave.
I see. I was thinking how cool it'd be to have multiple cameras facing different directions, so you can edit them together and make something like an auto racing video!
yeah check out this one and you can see how i mix it all in
That's awesome!! Do you own multiple cameras, or did you just move from one to another during the ride?
ive got a vholdr and a contour but most of this was shot with just the one camera moved around on multipule mounts on the bike and me. all of it was edited on sony vegas and also the music was created with the vegas software as well.
Hey David,
Great idea..! made today one myself, and try it out tomorrow (it is raining now...)
take care
Milo
