Has anybody tried petroleum jelly or silicone grease to inprove the water resistance?
What are some of the things you've done to help this problem?

try a condom! no not in a perverted way either you filthy minded people ;) they are cheep and you can also have the 'bone us' of tinted colors for extra effect!!!!
i cant believe i just wrote that!!! im sorry but im pissing myself with laughter now..............
You're "lizzing"!
After looking at my son's (his is one of the first ones )it seems that the lens is just placed inside the screw on ring ,that's where dust seems to enter now, we are going to seal it with a small amount of silicone and replace.
But the switch on top is also a concern ,we are going to smear Vasoline around the edges and also around the end cap.
We would like to video some tricks on PWC this summer, I don't think they can take that much spray, or the ocasional dunking.
Anybody use theirs in a wet environment?
We are looking into the water enviroment area, we are testing it this weekend, but are one of the penciled betta testers for the officail waterproof case and with luck will be here for the winter madness on the water :P
