Its pretty bad at 10 miles an hour on my mountain bike

Here are the photos that you requested. Here in California we have a chain of stores called Party City or Party America. These stores specialize in supplies for birthday parties. If you go into one of these stores there is an aisle dedicated to party favors. What you are looking for are the soft clear rubber bags full of rubber balls that you can squeeze and the balls inside kind-of "pop out" and the clear rubber bag distorts it's shape (see photos). These type of items are found at any novelty store with all kinds of gross looking things inside but the ones that you want have balls or ball shaped items inside. I used one that had eyeballs inside (from a novelty store) 'cause I think the eyeball looked cool on the camera.

I tested several types of material: rubber tip to a badminton shuttlecock, rubber bouncy balls from a paddleball and plastic balls. The squishy bag balls were the least transducive of wind noise and, conveniently, they were hollow inside. I first cut a slit in the ball bag and removed one of the balls. I then made a template of the curve of the camera (using construction paper) where the ball would mount. I then cut the ball in half to get a flat surface. I then placed the curve I got from my template on or about the middle of the halved ball. I then cut the marked ball half to get a one quarter ball (actually a little larger than a quarter to get more surface area) with a curved surface to attach to the camera. I used RTV silicone adhesive to attach the ball to the camera (be very careful not to get any inside the mic hole). You want to place the hollow portion of the ball surrounding the mic hole but not covering it (this may take several trys so it's good to have all those extra balls). The Vholdr was shipped in a box that had a foam cutout of the camera. I then marked and cut out a notch in the foam where the ball would be so that the camera could fit back in the box without knocking the ball off. I then put the camera back in the box overnight to dry. I always transport the camera in this box as it is easy to knock off the ball (also be careful when installing and removing the camera from your mount). The adhesive makes a nice mounting area so if and when you knock off the ball you can easily reattach it using a dap of superglue (just make sure you do it quick). Otherwise, you can use more RTV silicone and let it dry overnight (or use some electrical tape if you're in a hurry and don't want to use superglue). Good luck!
