If there is ever a firmware update, would it be possible to eliminate the auto turn-off feature when the vHoldr is in standby mode? I use mine mainly in my circle track stock car. I turn on the camera, mount it, then get all buckled in. Sometimes then they make us wait in staging for a long time, and my camera turns itself off. From my seat, I can reach the record switch as I pull onto the track, but of course I can't fumble with holding down that finnicky button on the back while I'm driving.

It's also tough to tell if the camera is on via the world's dimmest LED mounted near the lens. Maybe it would be better if it never turned itself off?
