as most of the masks ive ever seen have goggles over the top i would use a goggle mount as they are very secure and can be fitted either side, can you post a link to your make of mask if the goggle mount wont work and ill get my thinking cap on. :)
attach it to the gun for a first person view!

Codedarm I've had success with the Vented Helmet Mount.
I cut off the straps that it comes with and put plastic zip-ties at each corner. Assuming your mask is rubber or has holes, you can push the ties through.

As you can see the angle looks wrong, like with a motorcycle helmet. It's very important that you line it up while holding your gun as you would in the field.
I used a HandleBar Mount to mount the camera to my gun's feedneck. Sorry not pics of that. Should have video soon though!
