I just bought this camera. when i turn it on both lights on back come on but dont go back off again. Lasers dont fire up. Tried another battery, memory card and cable. I'm guessing it's screwed?

has the card been formated? if so has it been done in fat32? also the record switch should be at the back i.e. not in the record position when you boot it up.
Yes dave the card is fat32 and the record switch is back.
hmmm.... thats fine then,is the battery fully charged?
The battery has been on charge for a few hours now no green light though.I'll just leave it on the usb all night. surely if it was the battery it wouldn't start to boot at all?
if there is a little to start the process it can sometimes lock up, ive had it happen a couple of times to me before. are there any beeps at all?
same problem. charged battery, I know it recorded a ride on the dirtbike since I heard the beeps when I stopped the recording.. now the thing wont turn on.. I did try to turn it on with the switch in record and ever since no go... GRRR do I have to smack it against the wall or something?
Mine's gone back to where i bought it. Being replaced.
