QuickTime viewing...

DaugBiscuit

Cannot get the movie clips to play on QuickTime 7, i get sound only. I get a pop-up saying additional software is required for QT to play this media but I am unable to locate the additional software. Does anyone know how to get it to play on QuickTime 7? Is there another way to convert '.avi' to '.mov' extensions?

You can try the Xvid components for Quicktime, alternately you can go with VLC player.

I tried downloading the Xvid components for Quicktime and got a message that install was missing files etc., and could never download them. As a results, I cannot play or view on QT so I use the Easy Edit or Windows Media Player. I will explore AVS per davidwhitefield's suggestion. Thanks

DaugBiscuit. Are you using a VholdR on a PC? If so then QT won't work, just Windows Media Player and other third party stuff like VLC.
