I'm sorry you are having problems with your camera. Do you have a VholdR or ContourHD camera? What is the serial number of your camera?
When you turn your camera on, is the SD card in the camera?
When removing your battery, it can possibly get stuck if it is inserted incorrectly. However if you have successfully got power from the battery, it is unlikely you inserted the battery incorrectly.
