Description: Me and mark giving a go at a proper nights riding. Lights are great in real life but not quite up to video capture. Now I need to get more lights so I can continue videoing our runs and crashes :)

Interesting video.
If you want to do a night ride there and want it videoing let me know as I have a helmet camera that works in low light. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... for an example of the camear working with my single light.
See the comment I put below.
Didn't notice the reply to comment button, doh!
That's great, much more comparable to what the trail actually looks like at night. Which camera is it?
Might have to take you up on the offer the next wednesday I head over there :)
Check out our night ride that was shot with the CountourHD:

Was that with the 480p setting?
I realised afterwards there was no reason to put the 720p wide angle setting on as the light isn't anywhere near as wide as the camera.
Which lights have you got as well?
That is with the HD wide angle setting. Next time I will try it on the 480p. I'm using a Niterider Tri-Newt. I love it. For a single, handlebar mount it does a great job.
Unfortunately the camare I use has no names printed on it and I don't know where the invoice is anymore. When I purchased it over 5 years ago it didn't come with a record device, it sends av to a camcorder. It cost an arm and a leg though as it was the same as that used in british touring cars and rallying, i.e. TV broadcast quality. I might have to upgrade to a HD version in the near future.
Unfortunately a cold has gotten me so it looks unlikely that I will be there this wednesday but maybe hook up the following wednesday and hopefully some of the locals will be there as well.
