Download the latest version of the VholdR Desktop Software for both PC and Mac Systems!
Update: 1.5.3 is an update to 1.5 released in October. This update contains fixes for several bugs that users reported since launch. In addition to fixes we've also added interruptible uploading to this release. This means that if you are in the middle of an upload and you suddenly lose connection, you won't lose your progress. Instead your progress will resume where you left off the next time a connection is available.

To Verify Proper Installation:
- Click the Support menu
- Select "About VholdR Desktop"
- The new version number should be 1.5.3
VholdR Desktop-"Its PC & Mac!"
The next version of VholdR Desktop is now launching! The team has been drinking plenty of Vault and spending their weekends behind a desk to bring you the latest version of the VholdR Desktop. Even though we have the Mac version of the software launched we aren't done yet we're already working on new features and expanding the ones that are already there.
Here are some of the great new features and improvements we have made in version 1.5!
New Features
- Mac Compatibility - We are now compatible with Macs including Power PC and Intel processors as well as 10.4 and 10.5 operating systems.
- Clipping - You can now quickly and easily cut down your files so that the best parts are made available for posting. Its as simple as setting a start and end point and clicking finish. As an added bonus, your clipped videos will receive an opening credit roll so people will see your username and video title wherever you choose to post it.
- Improved Interface - You video is now the star as we have shifted the user interface around a bit to make watching and maintaining your videos even easier.
- Improved Video Quality - The videos on playback are now bigger! There is a set of controls for full screen, and we have improved the playback system to optimize even further for the VholdR codec.
- Status – We have separated the status bars to an entirely different window which will give you an even greater clarity on what is happening with your files, and if you lose connection while you are uploading there is even a retry button.
- Improved Performance - We have enabled a setting that will allow a wider variety of machines to manage their video collection. So even a decent sized collection on an older machine will run smoother.
- Enhanced Left Hand Folder Tree - We have added an "ALL" smart folder as an easy way to view your entire collection of videos.
What's Next:
We're still not even close to being done yet. Now that we have the two versions out there we can concentrate of improving and adding even more features that will allow you to edit and share your videos easier than ever. Stay tuned!
