Description

The stock mount stuck out to far leaving the camera exposed to damage from trees and vines while offroad racing. Using a simple cell phone pouch, I removed the belt clip and put a 2x3 velcro strip on the back. Mounting it to the helmet is secure and easy. The pouch holds the camera very stable and it tucks in very close. The power on button has easy access but the slider is a bit harder to manage but I will adjust to in knowing it is secure. Another option that worked was keeping the belt clip on and using it to mount to the goggle strap. This worked well for me also but I like the close in fit better mounting it to the helmet. The disadvantage is when not using the cam I have a slab of velcro on my helmet

very nice! All i would do is put a strap or tape or something around the bottom of the VholdR (grip part) so that it definatley wont come out the back.

I am replcing the tether with a thin wire that is a little bit longer with a Clip to snap onto my Helmet Strap Loops.
