Description: A piece of wood flies out from under a tow-truck's tire and hits my left hand at about 80mph.
I wear all my gear all the time. Because of that I didn't have a chunk of skin removed from my hand.
I've been hit by small rocks much the same way but this was a first for me.
(In case you missed it, the wood comes flying around the 12 second mark)
Update:
Nearly two months later I noticed I have a small splinter of what I assume to be bone floating around in my finger where I was struck. Probably not much I can do about it, although it's not really causing any discomfort either.
